ABSTRACT ART EXPLAINED: Non-objective abstract art is unknowable. This is why we are tempted to look for objects in paintings where there aren't any. For this reason it is more of a challenge to create an abstract painting that has meaning. All the elements of good representational art should be present, namely color, form, composition, perspective, etc. It can be compared to abstract music (music where a melody cannot be discerned). Not being able to identify a melody in music is like not seeing any recognizable objects in non-objective art. Hopefully you will like it. Art that has to be explained has failed.

I wonder whether fractal images are not touching the very structure of our brains. Is there a clue in the infinitely regressing character of such images that illuminates our perception of art? Could it be that a fractal image is of such extraordinary richness, that it is bound to resonate with our neuronal circuits and stimulate the pleasure I infer we all feel?

Abstract Expressionism is a type of art in which the artist expresses himself purely through the use of form and color. It non-representational, or non-objective, art, which means that there are no actual objects represented.
Minimalism defined -A twentieth century style of art stressing the idea of reducing a work of art to the minimum number of colors, values, shapes, lines and textures. No attempt is made to represent or symbolize any other object or experience. It is sometimes called ABC art, minimal art, reductivism, and rejective art. 'Minimalism' is a word we frequently hear used outside the world of the art gallery, and is therefore perhaps more familiar to us than some other art terms. It is often used in discussion about style in general: for example a chic sparse interior with white walls and simple furniture may be described as 'minimalist'. It is also sometimes used in a humorous or disparaging sense to describe something that is less than expected or under par.

Minimal Art emerged as a movement in the 1950s and continued through the Sixties and Seventies. It is a term used to describe paintings and sculpture that thrive on simplicity in both content and form, and seek to remove any sign of personal expressivity. The aim of Minimalism is to allow the viewer to experience the work more intensely without the distractions of composition, theme and so on.
Minimal art also known as minimalism, a movement and style of art from the 20th century which attempts to reduce art to the basic geometric shapes with the fewest colors, lines, and textures. Minimal art does not seek to be representational of any object. Also known as ABC art.
